A RESOLUTION OF THE ,CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO DEED A PARCEL OF LAND
TO THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR A SUPERIOR COURT
SITE AND TO NEGOTIATE THE SALE OF ANOTHER PARCEL
OF LAND FOR THE LOCATION OF A HEALTH CENTER
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco has duly qualified for a session of the
Superior Court pursuant to the Government Code, and
WHEREAS, the City Council and the City Manager have and are now conducting
negotiations with the Supervisors of the County of San Mateo for the location of a
Superior Court and Health Center in the City of South San FranciSco, and
WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo requires parcels of land to locate quarters
for the said Superior Court and Health Center, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires to dedicate
a parcel of land to the County of San Mateo for the location of a Superior Court and
negotiate the sale of another parcel of land for the location of a Health Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco does hereby formally declare its intention and agreement to dedicate a parcel
of land to the County of San Mateo for the location of quarters for a Superior Court
and further negotiate the sale of another parcel of land for the location of quarters
for a Health Center. The negotiation of the sale of the latter parcel being dependent
upon the acceptance of the deed of the first parcel and the location of quarters for
the Superior Court thereon.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 4th day of March, 1957,
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi,
Francis Lucchio and Leo J. Ryan
