A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH NAURICE A. GARBELL, INC.
WHEREAS, in the interest of public health and safety, the City of South San
Francisco will have a study of the present and planned jet operations of aircraft over the
City, and
WHEREAS, ~aurice A. Garbell, Inc., a qualified expert in the field of aeron-
autics, is willing to undertake such a study and has submitted a contract dated the 4th
day of November, 1957 , setting out the ter~s and compensations for said study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco does hereby accept and authorize the execution of that contract with ~aurice A.
Garbell, Inc., dated the 4th day of November, 1957 , and authorizes the pay-
ment as therein provided of TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00) per diem, not to exceed THREE
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($3,500.00).
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held this 4th day of November, 1957, by the following vote:

Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, E~ilio Cortesi,
Francis LucChio and Leo J. Ryan
