RESOLUTION NO. 2547
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO REGARDING OFF-SITE DRAINAGE CONSTRUCTION -
ORANGE AVENUE STORM SEWER
WHEREAS, by contract dated the 18th day of October 1956, the City of South
San Francisco participated in the construction and installation of the Orange
Avenue Storm Sewer reserving the right to recover from View ~ont Terrace Corpor-
ation and E. G. Coopman upon permitting use of said sewer for the approximately
fifteen (15) acres of land, and
WHEREAS, View Mont Terrace Corporation is completing its plans for subdiv-
ision and preparing to make use of the Orange Avenue Storm Sewer, and the Director
of Public Works has computed and set forth in inter-office memorandum dated
November 4, 1957, SIX THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY-TWO DOLLARS AND FORTY-FIVE
CENTS ($6,722.45) as the collection fee and contribution to the off-site devel-
opment known as Orange Avenue Storm Sewer, and
W~IEREAS, the said sum of SIX THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY-TWO DOLLARS
AND FORTY-FIVE CENTS ($6,722.45) is now being tendered to the City and the City
in accepting said sum desires to set out the extent of use of said storm sewer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the sum of SlX THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED
TWENTY-T~O DOLLARS AND FORTY-FIVE CENTS ($6,722.45) is hereby accepted and View
Mont Terrace Corporation, owners of 3.28 acres, and E. G. Coopman, owner of
12.57 acres of land, shall have the right to use the said Orange Avenue Storm
Sewer as constructed according to that plan entitled, "Orange Avenue Storm Sewer"
dated September 1956 as designed by T. V. Tronoff and the extent of said use
shall be the same as if the improvement was installed pursuant to an assessment
district and the said 3.28 acres of the View Mont Corporation and the said 12.57
of E. G. Coopman had been assessed therefor.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 2nd day of December, 1957,
by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi,
and Leo J. Ryan
NOES, None
ABSENT, Councilman Francis Lucchio
