A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO CORRECTING CERTAIN CLERICAL ERRORS IN SEWER
RENTAL CHARGES AND WEED ABATEMENT CHARGES
WHEREAS, certain clerical errors have appeared with respect to sewer rental
charges and weed abatement charges as more particularly set out hereinafter, and
WHEREAS, such errors should be corrected by the making of certain adjustments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the assessment for sewer rental charges and weed abatement charges be
adjusted as follows:
1. With respect to the sewer rental assessment of Amedeo Sola et al, 429
Commercial Avenue, through error sewer rental assessment was made in the amount of
EIGHTEEN DOLLARS ($18.00) on a building situated on the E. 25 feet of Lot 33, Block 119,
which was demolished March 12, 1956. Because such sewer rental has already been paid,
a refund is hereby ordered to be paid to said taxpayer in the amount of EIGHTEEN DOLLARS
($18.00).
2, With respect to the sewer rental assessment of Angels and Mar ieColombo,
578 Hagnolia Avenue, through error sewer rental assessment was made in the amount of
EIGHTEEN DOLLARS ($18.00) on an apartment building situated on Lot 29, Block 117, which
was demolished December 26, 1956. Because such sewer rental has already been paid, a
refund is hereby ordered to be paid to said taxpayer in the amount of ~GIIFKEN DOLLARS
($18.00).
3. With respect to the sewer rental assessment of Antonio and Amelia Perazzo,
673 Miller Avenue, through error said property was assessed for services to a duplex
when, in fact, the duplex is located on the adjacent property. Because such sewer rental
has already been paid, a refund is hereby ordered to be paid to said taxpayer in the
amount of TWENTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($24..00). The adjacent property owner has been billed
for the amount of TWENTY-FOUI~.DOLLARS ($24.00).
4. With respect to the sewer rental assessment of A. W. & Mary E. Eschelbach,
303 Orange Avenue, through error sewer rental assessment was made in the amount of
FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($15.00) when, in fact, said property is unimproved and no assessment
should have been made. Because such Sewer rental has already been paid, a refund is
hereby ordered to be paid to said taxpayer in the amount of FIFTEEN DOLLARS ($15.00).
The assessment is nov correctly applied to the adjacent property.
5. With respect to the mover rental assessment of Mr. & Mrs. R. Taylor, 420
Dorado Way, South San Francisco, through error sewer rental assessment was made in the
amount of EIGHTEEN DOLLARS ($18.00) when, in fact, the assessment should have been NINE
DOLLARS ($9.00). Because such sewer rental has already been paid, a refund is hereby
ordered to be paid to said taxpayer in the amount of NINE DOLLARS ($9.00}. The billing
for the additional NINE DOLLARS ($9.00) has already been made to the owner of the adjac-
ent property.
6. With respect to the weed abatement assessment of Mrs. Louise Gottelli,
414 West Orange Avenue, through error weed abatement assessed was in the amount of
EIGHTEEN DOLLARS ($18.00) on lots 19, 21, 23 and 25, Block 11, Town of Baden. Property
owner had already cleared premises and assessment was erroneously made. Because such
weed abatement charges has already been paid, a refund is hereby ordered to be paid to
said taxpayer in the amount of. EIGHTEEN DOLLARS ($18.00).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said City is hereby instructed
to make the above designated corrections to the sewer rental assessments and weed abate-
ment assessments; and said City Clerk is further instructed to pay over to the persons
entitled thereto the refunds indicated.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held this 16th day of December, 1957, by the following
vote:
