A RESOLUTION OF THE CItY 0OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO PROVIDING FOR SAID CITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE
SPECIAL ASSESSMENT PROCEEDING TO BE KNOWN AS "HARBOR WAY
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT', SAID CITY'S PARTICIPATION BEING
LIMITED TO THE EXTENT OF THE BENEFITS TO BE DERIVED BY LAND
OWNED BY SAID CITY AND LYING WITHIN SAID PROPOSED DISTRICT
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that,
WHEREAS said City is the owner of a small parcel of land lying within the
area of a proposed special assessment.district to be known as "Harbor Way Assessment
District", and whereas said parcel will be benefited directly by the improvements
contemplated to be installed within said proposed assessment district,
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That said city shall participate in said district (a) through the
execution of a petition seeking the improvement of Harbor Way as the same is proposed
to be extended from the northerly boundary of that certain subdivision known as
"South San Francisco Industrial Park" northerly to East Grand Avenue, and also (b)
through the execution of a waiver of the provisions of the Special Assessment,
Investigation, Limitation, and Majority Protest Act of 1931.
2. That said petition and waiver shall be executed by the Mayor of said
city, who is hereby so authorized, and shall be attested by the City Clerk, who is
hereby directed to affix thereto the corporate seal of said city.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Fran-
cisco at a regular meeting held this 6th day of January, 1958, by the
following vote:

Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis
Lucchio and Leo J. Ryan
