HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2569-1958RESOLUTION NO. 2569 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A PUBLIC UTILITIES EASEMENT IN BLOCE 2, PARKWAY TERRACE #3 Good and sufficient cause appearing, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation in theCounty of San Mateo, State of Calif- ornia, as follows: Section 1. It is the intention of said City Council~ pursuant to Public Service Easement Vacation Law (Title 5, Division 1, Part 1, Chapter 2, Article 5, Government Code, Section 50430 et. seq.), to order the following described portion of a public service easement in said City to be vacated. All that real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San ~ateo~ State of California, described as follows: A public utilities easement of the uniform width of ten feet lying equally on each side of a line which begins at the ~ost westerly corner of Lot 17, Block 2, and runs thence north 3.0- 26' east ~108.64 feet; thence north 15° 33' east 250 feet, more or less, to the mqst northerly corner of Lot 23, Block 2; thence northeasterly, direc~ly, 115 feet, more or less, tO the most westerly corner of 191 Lot 26, Block 2; thence north 24° 59" 51" east 134.06 feet; thence north'23° 24' 02" east 90 feet, more or lesS, to the southerly boundary line of Parkway, as said public utilities easement, lots, block and Parkway are delineated and so designated on that certain map entitled "Parkway Terrace No. 3, South San Francisco, Calif.", filed for record in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County, State of California, on June 22, 1950, in Volume 31 of Maps at page 41. which was dedicated to the City of South San Francisco by delineation on a portion of that certain map entitled, "PARKWAY TERRACE NO. 3~ SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA", which map was recorded in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County on the 22nd day of June 1950 in Book 31 of Maps at page 41. Section 2. Said City Council hereby fixes Monday, the 17th day of February 1958, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in said City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the vacation of said public utilities easement. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Fran- cisco at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of January, 1958, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen G.
