HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2572-1958RESOLUTION NO. 2572 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT (PEDESTRIAN WAY) IN WINSTON MANOR #1 Good and sufficient cause appearing, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation in the County of San ~ateo, State of California, as follows: Section 1. It is the intention of said City Council, pursuant to Public Service Easement Vacation Law (Title 5, Division 1, Part 1, Chapter 2, Article 5, Government Code, Sections 50430 et. seq.), to order the following described public service easement in said City to be vacated. All that certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, being more particularly described as follows: That certain easement marked "Pedestrian Way", 5 feet wide and 90 feet long lying between Lots 27 and 28 in Block No. 8 shown on map of "Winston Manor" recorded October 24, 1950, on page 29, in Volume 32 of Official Records of San Mateo County, which was dedicated to the City of South San Francisco on the 2nd day of October, 1950, and recorded October 24, 1950, on page 29 in Volume 32 of Official Records of San ~ateo County. Reference is made to Subdivision Map entitled, "Winston Manor", dated Septem- ber 1950, on file in the City Clerk's Office designating said easement. Section 2. Said City Council hereby fixes Monday, the 17th day of FebrUary, 1958, at the hour of 8:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in said City of South San Francisco, County of San ~at~ , State of California, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the vacation of said public utilities easement. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of January, 1958, by the following vote: AYES, NOES, ABSENT, Councilmen G.
