HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2593-1958 RESOLUTION NO. 2593 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ESTABLISHING A SAFETY COMMITTEE WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, after due consideration, has determined that a Safety Committee should be formed for the purpose of developing' and establishing sound safety practices and procedures for the respective city departments. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does hereby declare that a Safety Committee be formed, known as the South San Francisco Safety Committee, for the purpose of developing and establishing sound safety practices and procedures within respective departments of the city. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of the Committee shall be the department heads and employees designated by the City Manager, and that said Com- mittee shall elect a chairman annually, and meet in accordance with rules adopted by the Committee or designated by the City Manager. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of March, 1958, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Francis Lucchio and Leo J. Ryan NOES, None ABSENT, None ATTEST: ARTHUR A. RODONDI CITY CLERK
