HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2601-1958 RESOLUTION NO. 3601 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING PROTESTS IN RELATION TO PROPOSED ACQUISITIONS AND I'MPROVEMENI~, AND DIR~CTI NG NOTICE PlNEVIEW CREST that REROLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 3597 adopted on March 31, 1958, by tho City Council of said City, pursuant to tho Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, as amended, the Engineer of Work' of said City has filed with the City Clerk of this City the written report called for under said A~t and by said Resolution of Intention, which report has bess presented by said Clerk to this Council for con~ider- atton, 'and this Council has considered and preliminarily approved and confirmed said report and ordered that the same stand as the-report for the purpose of all subsequent proceedings had pursuant' to' ssid-' Resolut:ion of Intention; NOW, 'THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that' NONDAY, the' 7t'h' day of April, 1958, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the' regular meeting place of said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, South San 'Francisco, California, 'be, and -the' same are hereby appointed and fixed as the'time and place when and where said Council will consider and' finally actupon the' Engineer's- report" under said' Resolution of Intention, IT IS ,dR't'dMt ORDERED, that:/thm City Clerk of' this'City be, and he is hereby, directed to give noticw of'maid"hearing-by two successive inaer~t'ons in the Enterprise- Journal, a ~paper publts~d and circulated in said CtU, and'by co~picuously ins a notice thereof along all the o~n-streets within the ammommMnt' district at not more t~n~ three hunted feet spirit, and ~t loss t~n three in all; said ~stinf and first publication to b ~d and c~pleted at least twnty ~ys 'bf~e ~e ~te ~'~roin set* for heari~ng of protests. IT IS FUa'r~t~h ORDEREDthat the City Clerk of said City shall mail or cause to be mailed notice of the adoption of.saidResolution of Intention and the filing of said report, postage prepaid, at least twenty days'before the-da'to set for hearing of said protests, to all personmowninw realproperty to be assessed, whose names and' addresses appear on the last equalized'assessmentroll for City taxes prior thereto or as known to tho City Clerk, which notice shall contain a'stateme'nt of the time, place and purpose of the hearing on said Resolution of Intention and report, and a statement of the total estimated cost of the proposed acquisitions and improvements, tho amount as shown by said report to be assessed against the particular parcel covered by the notice, together with a statement that any person interested may file a protest in writing as provided in said Act. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council*of the City of South San Francisco at an Adjourned Regular Meeting held this 31st day of March, 1958, by the following vote: AYES, NOES, ABSENT, Councilmen G.
