HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2611-1958 RRSOLVRD, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, Calif- ornia, that WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 2608 adopted on April 7, 1958, by the City Council of said City pursuant to the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, as amended, the Directorof Public Workm'of said City has 'filed with the City Clerk of this City the written report called for under said Act Pand~by' said Resolution oflntention which report has'been presented by said Clerk to this Council for.conmideration,'and~this Counctlhas considered and preliminarily approved and confirmed said report and ordered that the same stand am the report for the pur- pose of all submequent proceedings had pursuant to said Resolution of Intention; NOW, THEREIeORE,'~IT IS ORDgRED; that~Monday, the:leth day of May, 1958, at the hour' of 8:00 o'clock P.M.; in the'regularmeeting'place"of'said'Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, $outh~SanFrancimco, Ca'lifornia, be,'and'the'same are hereby appointed and 'fixed as the time and place when and where it will consider and finally act upon the Engineer's'report' unclersatd'Resolut'Ion of"'Intention. IT IS wbRt~K ORDERgD that the City Clerk of thts~City be', and he is hereby, directedto~givenotice of said~h~aring'bytwo successIve'-insertion~ in thegnterprise-Journal, a newspaper published and circulated-in maid 'City, and by conspicuously posting a notice:~thereo'f along all the open streets withinthe assess- ment district at not more than 'three hundred feet apart, and not less than three in all; said posting and first publication to be had and completed at least twenty days before the date herein set for' hearing of protests. IT IS FURTHER ORDgRgD that said notices shall be headed '*Notice of Im- provement'' in letters of not less than one inch in height and shall, in legible characters, state the fact and date of the passage of said Resolution of Intention and of the filing of said report and of the date, hour and place set for the hearing of said protests, and briefly dmmcrtbe the improvements proposed to be made, and refer to said Resolution of Intention and report for further particulars. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the City Clerk of said City shall mail or cause to be mailed notice of the adoption of said Resolution oflntention and the filing of said report, postage prepaid, at least twenty days before the date set for hearing of said protests, to all persons owning real property to be a~sessed, whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for City taxes prior thereto or as known to the City Clerk, which notice shall contain a statement of the time, place and purpose of:the hearing on saidReso'lution of Intention and'report and a statement of the total estimated cost'of the propoSed'improvements, the amount as shown by saidreport, to be assessed against the particular parcel covered by the notice, together with a statement that any person interested~ay file a protest in writing as provided in said'Act; I hereby certifythat the foregoin~ resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of'South San Fran- cisco at a regular meeting held this 7th day of April, 1958, by the follow- ing vote: AYES, Councilmen G.
