A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUIqCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAR FRANCISCO DESIGNATING
OFFICIAL TO CONTRACT FOR SURPLUS' PROPERTY
AVAILABLE FOR CIVIL DEFENSE AND DISASTER
WHEREAS, tho City Of 8curb 8an Francisco desires to avail itself of certain
surplus property available, er that may be made available, for civil defense and
disaster and to designate an officer, or officers, to contract for acquisition of said
surplus property,
NOW, THEREI~RE, BEIT RESOLVED by th~ City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Manager as Director of Civil Defense and Disaster and Assistant
Director of Civil Defense and Disaster are hereby authorized and e~powered to contract
with federal and state agen~ie8 for surplus property used for civil defense and disaster.
1 hereby certify that the foregoing resolution vas regularly'
introduced and adopted by the City .Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held on the 7th day of April, 1958, by the following
vote:
AYES,
Councilmen G. J. Rossi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi and
Leo J. Ryan
NOES, None
ABSENT, Councilman Francis Lucchio
