A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO CO~ENIYI~G THE TEAM, COACHES AND N~NAGER
FOR WINNING THE 1958 PENINSULA LEAGUE DUAL TRACK MEET
CHARPlONSHIP AND AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF INDIVIDUAL
CERTIFICATES OF RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, the tea~, coaches and manager of the South San Francisco High
SchooI Class B Track and Field Team have brought prestige and honor to this commun-
ity by reason of their winning the 1958 PENINSULA LEAGUE DUAL TRACK MEET CHAMPION-
SHIP, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, as the official representatives of this commun-
ity, desires to publicly recognize this achievement and to have placed in our public
records the names of the team, coaches and manager, and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further desire to issue individual Certif-
icates of Recognition to the team, coaches and manager.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the. City Council .of the City of. South
San Francisco that said City Council does hereby publicly commend the team, coaches
and manager of the South San Francisco High School Class B Track and Field Team for
winning the 1958 PENINSULA LEAGUE DUAL TRACK MEET CHAMPIONSHIP.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in recognition of said achievement, the names
of the team, coaches and manager be set out in this resolution and filed with the
official records of the City and further that individual Certificates of Recogni-
tion be issued to:

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of. May, 195S, by the
