A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AUTHORIZING PROPOSED PROJECT ENTITLED: "CHLORINATION AND OUTFALL WORKS
WHICH ARE ADDITIONS TO THE EXISTING PRI~LtRY TREATMENT PLANT" AND AUTH-
ORIZING REPRESENTATIVE TO SIGN AND SUBMIT APPLICATION ENTITLED:
"APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL GRANT FOR SEWAGE TREATMENT WORKS UNDER
33 U.S.C. 466 ET. SEQ."
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires to auth-
orize construction, financing and operation of the proposed project entitled: "Chlorin-
ation and O~tfall Works which are additions to the existing Primary Treatment Plant",
and further authorizing the filing of an application entitled: "Application for Federal
Grant for Sewage Treatment Works Under 33 U.S.C. 466 et. ~eq."~ and further authorize
G. J. Rozzi, Mayor of the City of South San Francisco, as the representative to sign
and submit said application, together with any such other information as may be re-
quired, and to conduct all negotiations and conclude all arrangements with the Regional
Water Pollution Board, San Francisco Bay Region, or any other authorized agency, and
accept said grant, as made and approved, and execute or sign or otherwise complete any
and all required documents or papers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San
FrancisCo does hereby authorize and approve construction, financing~and operation of the
proposed project entitled: "Chlorination and Outfall Works which are additions to the
existing Primary Treatment Plant"., and does further authorize the filing of the applica-
tion entitled: "Application for Federal Grant for Sewage Treatment Works Under 33 U;~S.C.
466 et. seq.", and does further authorize G. J. Rozzi, Mayor of the City of South San
Francisco, as the representative to sign and submit said application, together with any
such other information as may be required, and to conduct all negotiations and conclude
all arrangements with the Regional Water Pollution Board, San Francisco Bay Region, or
any other authorized agency, and accept said grant, as made and approved, and execute
or sign or otherwise complete any and all required documents or papers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon receipt of the grant requested, bids be called
for and construction contracts awarded prior to June 30, 1959.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
Special meeting held on the 27th day of May, 1958, by the following vote:
