A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO COMMENDING THE TEAM, COACH AND STAFF FOR
WINNING THE 1958 PENINSULA LEAGUE BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
AND AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF INDIVIDUAL CERTIFICATES OF
RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, the team, coach and staff of the' South San Francisco High School Soph-
Frosh Baseball Team have brought prestige and honor to this community by reason of their
winning the 1958 PENINSULA LEAGUE BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, as the official representatives of this community,
desires to publicly recognize this achievement and to have placed in our public records
the names of the team, coach and staff, and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further desire to issue individual Certificates
of Recognition to the team, coach and staff,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that said City Council does hereby publicly commend the team, coach and staff
of the South'San Francisco High School Soph-Frosh Baseball Team for winning the 1958 PENIN-
SULA LEAGUE BASEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in recognition of the achievement, the names of the
team, coach and staff be set out in this resolution and filed with the official records of
the City and further that individual Certificates of Recognition be issued to:

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at
a regular meeting held on the 2nd day of June, 1958, by the following vote:

Patrick E. Ahern
