A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING PROCEEDINGS TO
ACQUIRE CERTAIN LANDS, PROPERTY AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY
FOR PARKING DISTRICT #1 OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 425 which created Parking District #1
of the City of South San Francisco, provision was made for procuring option to
purchase such lands, property and rights-of-way, or if all or any portion could not
be acquired by contract or under option at a price which the legislative body deems
satisfactory, then by an action in condemnation, and
WHEREAS, there are certain lands, property and rights-of-way which cannot
be acquired by contract or under option at a price which the legislative body deems
satisfactory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that pursuant to the terms of Ordinance No. 425 and this resolution,
Angelo Scampini is hereby authorized as Special Counsel of said Parking District #1
of the City of South San Francisco to file an action in the nam~ of the City for
condemnation of the following lands, property and rights-of-way to wit:
Lot 10, Block 140, South San Francisco Plat #1
Lot 18, Block 125, South San Francisco Plat #1
Lot 19, Block 125, South San Francisco Plat #1
Lots 19 & 20, Block 140, South San Francisco Plat #1
Lot 5 and Easterly half of Lot 6, Block 124, South San Francisco, Plat #1
Westerly half of Lot 6, Block 124, South San Francisco, Plat #1
Easterly half of Lot 23, Block 124, South San Francisco, Plat #1
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting
held on the 4th day of August, 1958, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan
and Patrick E. Ahern
