A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO REQUESTING OF THE 'STATE DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS AN
OFF RAMP FOR SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC AT SHAW ROAD
WHEREAS, surveys and investigations completed by'the City Manager and depart-
ments of the City of South San Francisco show a need for an off ramp from Bayshore onto
Shaw Road, and
~EREAS, the City Council of the City.of,South San Francisco desires to request
construction of an off ramp at Shaw Road by the Division of Highways.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco does hereby request of the Division of Highways, State of California, the con-
struction of an off ramp at Shaw Road, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized
to negotiate with the Division of Highways, State of California, for the installation of
said project.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 2nd day of September, 1958, by the following vote:

Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan
and Patrick E. Ahern
