HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2694-1958RESOLUTION NO. 2694 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LOAN FROM GENERAL FUND TO SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT FUND INDUSTRIAL PARK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 3 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, acting under and pursuant to the provisions of Division 12 of the California Streets and Highways Code, by Resolution of Intention No. 2671 duly passed and adopted on July 21, 1958, has declared its intention to order certain work to be done and acquisitions and improvements to be made in' an assessment district designated Industrial Park Improve- ment District No. 3 comprising the territory described in said .Resolution of Itention; and WHEREAS, said City Council in and by said Resolution of Intention 'referred said work and acquisitions and improvements to Wilsey & Ha~, as Engineers of Work for said District and directed said Engineers to make and file with the City Clerk of said City a report in writing; and ~EREAS, said Engineers duly filed with the City Clerk their report in writing including a proposed assessment of the total amount of the Costs and expenses of said proposed acquisitions and improvements upon the several subdivisions of land in the district in proportion to the estimated benefits to be received by such subdivisions, respectively, from the acquisitions and'improvements, all in accordance with Sections 10203 and 10204 of the California Streets and Highways Code; and WHEREAS, said City Council of said City by Resolution duly adopted on July 21, 1958, duly confirmed said assessment and ordered said acquisitions andir~pro~ W be NOW,.TH~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, as ~o~ows: The.CitY Council of the City of South San Fra ncisco, to expedite the making of said acquisitions' and improvements,. ,, hereby. directs the City Treasurer to establish a special fund to be desIgnated Industrial Park Improvement District No. 3 Special Fund" and declares it to be necessary to transfer and does hereby transfer into said special fund out of money in the General Fund the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00). Said sum so transferred is a loan to said special fund and shall be repaid out of the proceeds of said assessment. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of September, 1958, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E.
