HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2698-1958RESOLUTION NO. 2698 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO REGARDING SAN MATEO COUNTY'S APPLICATION FOR ALLOCATION OF FEDERAL FUNDS UNDER PUBLIC LAW 560 FOR PI~ELIMINARY ENGINEERING ON THE EXTENSION OF HICKEY BOULEVARD WHEREAS, the County of San Marco has prepared and submitted an application for an allocation of federal funds under Public Law 560 for ureliminary engineering on the extension of Hickey Boulevard westerly from the Junipero Serra Boulevard to the Skyline Boulevard at its junction with the new Edgemar Freeway now under con- struction by the State of California, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires to endorse said proposed project and recommend an allocation of funds for this purpose by the Federal Government. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the application for an allocation of federal funds under Public Law 560 for preliminary engineering on the extension of Hlckey Boulevard westerly from the Junipero Serra Boulevard to the Skyline Boulevard at its junction with the new Edgemar Freeway now under construction by the State of California be, and the same is hereby, endorsed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does hereby recommend an allocation of federal funds for this purpose. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Fran- cisco at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of September, 1958, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahern NOES, None ABSENT, None ATTEST: ARTHUR A. RODONDI CITY CLERK
