HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2707-1958RESOLUTION NO. 2707 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ABANDONING AND VACATING A PORTION:OF A PUBLIC SERVICE EABEMENT KNOWNAS WILLOW ROAD WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 269% passed and adopted on the 15th day of September, 1958, the City Council declared its intention to abandon a portion of a public service easement (road easement) known as Willow Road and more particularly described therein, and WHEREAS, notice of hearing was duly given and posted and herein held on the 20th day of October 1958 at 8:00 p.m., and WHEREAS, from the evidence received at said hearing the City Council finds that the portion of the public service easement .(road easement) described in the Resolution of Intention No. 2697 is unnecessary for present and prospectiVe public use. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE~OLVED and ordered that the following described portion of that easement known'.as-Willow Road be vacated: That portion of Willow Avenue within the confines of the property owned by ~he County of San Mateo within the City of South San Francisco more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point which marks the intersection~of the Northwesterly line of Willow Avenue and the Northeasterly line of Mission Road, which point bears ~outh 33° 52'_56U.Wast- 370_03 feet from the most Soptberlv corner of Lot 8 ~oc~ ~ M~p ae~ll. Reference is made to San Mateo County Assessor's Map of South San Francisco #5 on file in the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, South San Francisco, which details location of said roadway. Expressly reserved and excepted are any easements for sewers, storm drains or other utilities or services. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of October, 1958, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen G.
