A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF~THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO REQUESTING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
IN THE CHRISTMAS OUISDOOR DECORATION PROGRAM FOR 1958
WHEREAS, Christmas Outdoor Decorations in the business and residential areas
of the City add to the spirit of the.Season, and
WHEREAS, the City council of the City of South San Francisco desires to en-
courage a City wide program of outdoor decorations during the Christmas Season of 1958.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that all remidentm and businessmen of South San Francisco are respectfully
requested to partic~p&te~in a general Christmas Outdoor Decoration Program during the
Season for 1958.
BE IT FUK~'fiSK RESOLVED that Councilman Emilio Cortesi be, and he is hereby,
appointed Chairman of the Program and he is authorized to select judges and make
appropriate awards for those decorations adjudged best by said judges.
I hereby certify tha~ the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at
a regular meeting held on the 3rd day of November, 1958, by the following
vote:
AYES, Councilmen G. ,J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan
and Patrick E. Ahern
