HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2712-1958 RESOLUTION NO. 2712 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ENDORSING THE CONSTHUCT~ON OF PROPOSED PROJECT UNDER PUBLIC LAW 560 - EXTENSION OF HICKEY BOULEVARD WHEREAS, the County of San Marco has prepared and sub~itted an application for an allocation of federal funds under Public Law 560 for preliminary engineering on the extension of Hickey Boulevard westerly from the Junipero Serra BOulevard to the Skyline Boulevard at its junction with the new Edgemar Freeway now under construction by the State of California, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires to en- dorse construction of said proposed project and recommend an allocation of funds for this purpose by the Federal Govermaent. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the application for an allocation of federal funds under Public Law 560 for preliminary engineering on the extension of Hickey Boulevard westerly from the Junipero Serra Boulevard to the Skyline Boulevard at .its junction with the new Edgemar Freeway now under construction by the State of California be, and the same is hereby, endorsed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Fran- cisco does hereby further endorsethe construction of said proposed project and recom- mend an allocation of federal funds for this purpose. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City or.South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of November, 1958, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, LeO J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahern. NOES, None ABSENT, None ATTEST: ARTHUR A. RODONDI CITY CLERK
