A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE cITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT DATED THE
TWENTY-FIRST DAY OF OCTOBER 1958 REGARDING PROVISION OF
TECHNICAL AND CLERICAL ASSISTANCE TO AGENCY IN PURCHASES
OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco is participating in the Civil Defense
Surplus Property Program and desires to continue to participate, and
WHEREAS, certain technical and clerical assistance is required for the service
and delivery of items purchased by City under said program and City desires to execute a
contract with the State of California, acting by and through its duly appointed, qualified
and acting Director of the California Disaster Office, for said technical and clerical
assistance and cost thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Fran-
cisco that the City execute that certain agreement dated the 21st day of October 1958 by and
between the State of California, acting by and through its duly appointed, qualified and act-
ing Director of the California Disaster Office, and City, providing for the rendering of
technical and clerical assistance to City' in the purchase of surplus property and the paying
of the charges therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to execute
said agreement on behalf of said City of South San Francisco and the City Clerk is instructed
to affix thereto the corporate seal of the City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council ~ the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 17th day of November, 1958, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan
and Patrick E. Ahem
