A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO ENDORSING THE FORMATION OF A COUNTY FLOOD
CONTROL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires to en-
dorse and support the formation of a County Flood Control District, and
WHEREAS, the Manufacturers Association of San Mateo County and the County of
San Mateo are concurring in a draft of proposed legislation to effect the formation of
such a district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco desires to hereby express its endorsement and support of a County Flood Control
District and approves presentation of a bill in the State Legislature to accomplish the
formation of such a district reserving its approval of any specific bill until said spec-
ific bill can be reviewed by the City Council.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held this 5th day of January, 1959, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahem.
NOES, None
ABSENT, None
