HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2736-1959RESOLUTION NO. 2736 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PROPOSING A ROUTE OF JUNIPERO SERRA BOULEVARD TO CONNECT WITH SKYLINE BOULEVARD WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Division of Highways and other departments, is considering alternate plans for the routing of Junipero Serra Boulevard; namely, Alternate Plan "J" and Alternate Plan 'K", and WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco desires to propose and recommend a third alternate routing to connect Junipero Serra Boulevard to Skyline Boulevard at a more northerly portion than is contemplated by either of the State's alternate plans. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that a third alternate plan for the development of Junipero Serra Boulevard and Skyline Boulevard as a north south freeway is hereby proposed and recommended with a northerly connection in the vicinity of western limits of Woodlawn Cemetery at Junipero Serra Boulevard in a general southwesterly direction along westerly edge of ChineSe Cemetery to a connection with Skyline Boulevard east of Edgemar, as shown on the attached sketch marked Exhibit A, and said sketch by this reference is incorporated herein. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 19th day of January, 1959, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen G. J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahern NOES, None ABSENT, None ATTEST: ARTHUR A. RODONDI CITY CLERK
