A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO VACATING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT IN INDUSTRIAL
PARK NO. 1, LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 1, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 1, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION,
DELIVERY AND RECORDATION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED
WHEREAS, a public utility easement (P.U.E.) was dedicated to the City of
South San Francisco by -
Deed from Edw. T. Haas, R. M. Haynie, Utah Construction Company,
a Utah corporation, to City of South San Francisco, dated November
12, 1956, and recorded December 24, 1956, in Book 3148 of Official
Records of San Mateo County at page 394 (14426-P).

1956, and recorded December 24, 1956, in Book 3148 of Official
Records of San Mateo County at page 397 (14427-P).
WHEREAS, said ten foot (10') easement was granted to provide for drainage,
which subsequent development has made unnecessary, and
WHEREAS, said ten foot (10') public utility easement (P.U.E.) has not been
used for the purposes for which it was dedicated or acquired and is unnecessary for
present and prospective public use by said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of South San Francisco, hav-
ing not used said ten foot (10') public utility easement (P.U.E.) and having deter-
mined that said easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public use by
said City, does hereby vacate and abandon that public utility easement (P.U.E.)
conveyed in the following deeds:
Deed from Edw. T. Haas, R. M. Haynie, Utah Construction Company, a
Utah corporation, to City of South San Francisco, dated November 12,
1956, and recorded December 24, 1956, in Book 3148 of Official
Records of San Mateo County at page 394 (14426-P).
Deed from Edw. T. Haas, R. M. Haynie, Utah Construction Company, a
Utah corporation, to City of South San Francisco, dated November 12,
1956, and recorded December 24, 1956, in Book 3148 of Official
Records of San Mateo County at page 397 (14427-P).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes execution,
delivery and recordation of a quitclaim deed executed the 16th day of March, 1959, by
the City of South San Francisco to Utah Construction Company quitclaiming and releasing
said interest previously conveyed to Utah Construction Company.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the required documents be recorded by the City
Clerk to clear the'Grantors' property of the easement.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at
a regular meeting held on the 16th day of March, 1959, by the following vote:
