CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
REGULAR MEETING
June 26, 1985
TIME: 7:00 p.m.
PLACE: Community Room, Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive
South San Francisco, CA
CALL TO ORDER: Vice Chairperson Roberta Teglia called the Redevelopment Agency meeting to
order at 7:12 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Present: Vice Chairperson Roberta Teglia; Member Mark Addiego; Member
Emanuele Damonte; Member Gus Nicolopulos
Absent: Chairman Richard Haffey
Also Present: Executive Director/Secretary C, Walter Birkelo; Deputy
Executive Director/Administration Mark Lewis
AGENDA REVIEW: The Executive Director stated that there nothing to add nor delete from
the agenda
APPROVAL OF
BILLS: No bills were presented for approval.
REVIEW OF Executive Director Birkelo stated that this is a verbal report to bring
U.S.STEEL the Agency Board up to date on the progress of our U. S. Steel Site
SITE PROJECT: Redevelopment Project. As you know, we have been in negotiations with
Neville Price, the developer, for some time; we believe we are reaching
the point now where we can get you a draft of the Owner Participation
Agreement within a couple of weeks.
You are, of course, aware that we have already reached an agreement with
the County onthe tax increment matter, the Community College District
and the South San Francisco Unified School District will both be considering
agreements which you received copies of earlier,
One other thing is to remind you that on July 10, the Agency and the
City Council will hold joint hearing and consider the adoption of the
final redevelopment plan for this project.
GOOD & WELFARE: Vice Chairpersgn Teglia gave opportunity for members of the public to
speak on matters relating to the Redevelopment Agency, No one spoke,
ADJOURNMENT; It was moved by Member Damonte and seconded by Member Addiego that the
meeting be adjourned, The motion as made and seconded was regularly
carried.
