A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO ORDERING THE FILING OF AN AMENDED ASSESSMENT --
SOUTH CANAL AND MAYFAIR AVENUE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, a certain parcel of land to wit: as described in "Exhibit A,, attached
hereto and hereby incorporated herein and made a part hereof, upon which there is an unpaid
assessment against which bonds have been issued and which has been subdivided and which the
City CoUncil, on application of the owner, desires to segregate and apportion unpaid install-
ments of the original assessment in accordance with the benefits to the several parts of
the original parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the Director of Public Works, ex-officio Superintendent of Streets, shall
file with the City Clerk a report and amended assessment'of the lot or parcel o.f land
described to wit: as described in "Exhibit A~, attached hereto and hereby incorporated
herein and made a part hereof, including map or plot plan showing how such lot or parcel
has been divided, make said amended assessment so that the total amount of the assessment
of the several portions of said lot or parcel shall be equal to the unpaid assessment upon
the original lot or parcel.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon filing of the said report and amended assessment,
the. City Clerk shall fix a time and place for hearing upon the amended assessment and shall
give notice of the hearing by publication, said time and notice shall conform to the require-
ments of Section 8732 of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of. California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meet-
ing held this 20th day of April, 1959, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan and
Patrick E. Ahem

That certain parcel of land being part of Assessment Parcel #1, to wit: Parcel lB,
South Canal & Mayfair Ave. Improvement District, situate in the City of South San Fran-
cisco, County of San Mateo, state of C~2:fornia, °more partiCularl¥ deSCribed as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which bears South 15v 33' West ~O.OO~eet ann ~orth 74v2'~' East
70.00 feet from the Northwesterly corner of that certain 14.679 acre tract of land described
in Deed from South San Francisco'Land and Improvement Company, a corporation, to South San
Francisco Drive-In Theatre Corporation, a corporation, recorded in Book 1463 of Official
Records at page 69; thence South 15° 33' West along the Westerly line of Spruce Avenue 90.00
feet to a point on the Northerly line of Mayfair Avenue said line also being the Southerly
boundary of Parcel lB; THENCE North 74° 27' West along said Southern boundary a distance of
384.44 feet to a point which is the Southwesterly corner of this parcel, said point also
bearing Sou~74° 27' East a distance of 55.56 feet from ~he Southeast corner of Block 10
as shown on' that map entitled "Mayfair Village Map No. 3,~filed in the office of the County
Recorder of San Marco County in Book 26 of Maps at page 45; THENCE North 15° 33' East
along the Western boundary of Parcel lB said line also running parallel to, at a distance
of 55.56 feet, the Easterly line of the above mentioned Block No. 10, a distance of 90.00
feet to a point which is the NorthweSt corner of Parcel lB; THENCE South 74° 27' East along
the Northern boundary of Parcel lB, said line also running parallel to, at a distance of
90.00 feet, the Northern line of Mayfair Avenue, a distance of 384.44 feet to the POINT-OF
BEGINNING.
