HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2799-1959RESOLUTION NO. 2799 A RESOLUTION ORDERING ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 2-C GRADING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT - INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 2-C, ZONE 2 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, Calif- ornia, that WHEREAS, on May 18, 1959, this Council adopted its Resolution of In- tention No. 2792 to annex the assessment district area to the Industrial Park Unit No. 2-C Grading Maintenance District, a maintenance district organized and existing under and pursuant to Chapter~26 of Part 3 of Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code, the said territory being more particularly described as the area consisting of Lots 17 through 24, Block 3, Lots 17 and 18, Block 10, Lots'l through 3 and Lot 10, Block 13, and Lots 9 through 12, Block 14, as shown on the map of South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit No. 2-C; WHEREAS, a copy of the notice of such annexation was published once a week for two weeks in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation circulated in said City and in the territory proposed to be annexed;' WHEREAS, a full hearing was had thereon at-the time appointed and all persons desiring to be heard were fully heard by this Council, and no persons appeared and objected orally or in writing to the annexation of the said territory, or any portion thereof, to said maintenance district; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That all written protests and other written communications were pub- licly read at said hearing and all persons desiring to be heard were ~lly heard and that all protests be, and each of them are hereby, overruled. 2. That the Maintenance District will be benefited by the annexation of the said territory thereto and this Council consents to the annexation. 3. That the boundaries' of the Industrial Park Unit No. 2-C Grading Maintenance District are hereby altered to include the said territory, and that the territory so annexed is contiguous to the Maintenance District, is not within the boundaries of any other maintenance district, and is situated in the City of South San Francisco, State of California. 4. The City Clerk shall cause certified copies of this Resolution together with metes and bounds descriptions and maps showing the boundaries of the territory annexed to the Grading Maintenance District to be filed with the City Assessor of ..~he C[ty'0f South San Francisco and with the State Board of Equalization, Sacramento, California, prior to the first day of February, 1960. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 1st day of June, 1959, by the following vote: AYES, NOES, ABSENT, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G.
