A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO'AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL AND VACATION
OF PLAN LINES - MEMORIAL DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco in Resolution No.
2313 passed the 20th day of February, 1956, did set and establish plan lines for the
extension of Memorial Drive from Orange Avenue to Chestnut Avenue, and
~HEREAS, the City Council has now considered a new and different development
of the area contiguous to Memorial Park which would make the extension of said Memorial
Drive impractical and unnecessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco and it is hereby ordered that the plan'lines for'the extension of Memorial
Drive from the points of present teminus, though in a northerly direction to Chestnut
Avenue, be vacated and removed.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held this 1st day..a~ June, 1959, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, Leo J. Ryan,.G.J. Rozzi and'Patrick E. Ahern
NOES, None
ABSENT,
