A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SUPPORTInG. SENATE BILL NO. 1368.
ESTABLISHING A COUNTY WIDE FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
FOR THE cOUNTY OF SAN MATEO
WItEREAS, Senate Bill No. 1368 will provide a means for acquisition, construc-
tion and maintenance of facilities for flood control on a'county wide basis, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco finds it neces-
.~.~.~sary and desirable to urge the adoption of said proposed legislation by the California
'(~Legislature at its 1959 legislative session.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco and it is hereby ordered as follows:
1. That. the California Legislature be, and it is hereby, urged and requested
to adopt said Senate Bill No. 1368 for the establishment of a county wide flood control
district for the County of San Mateo at its 1959 legislative session in order that a San
Mateo COunty Flood Control District may be established in said County for the control of
flood, storm and drainage waters on a county wide basis.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at
a regular ~eeting held~on the lst~day of June, 1959, by the following vote:
