A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING RECEIPT OF PAYMENT FOR DAMAGE TO
CITY PROPERTY AND EXECUTION OF RELEASES
WHER~EAS, an electrolier and a city-owned pede3strian sign were damaged by
HERBERT GAINES at E1 Campo Drive on the 6th day of December 1958 in the amount of FIVE
HUNDRED SIX DOLLARS AND THIRTY-EIGHT CENTS ($506.38), and
~tEREAS~ the City has received an offer of reimbursement ±n the total amount
of said damages and City desires to accept same and execute desired releases.
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that offered settlement of the claim hereinbefore set forth be accepted and
that the Mayor of said City be authorized to sign said releases on behalf of the City
and the City Clerk be instructed to attest to his signature.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at
a regular meeting held this 6th day of July~ 1959~ by the following vote:
AYES~ Councilmen Andrew Rocca~ G. J. Rozzi, Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahern
NOES~ None
ABSENT~ Councilman Emilio Cortesi
