A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO CORRECTING CERTAIN CLERICAL ERRORS IN
SEWER RENTAL CHARGES AND WEED ABATEMENT CHARGES
WHEREAS, certain clerical errors have appeared with respect to sewer rental
charges and weed abatement charges as more particularly set out hereinafter, and
WHEREAS, such errors should be corrected by the making of certain adjustments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the assessment for sewer rental charges and weed abatement charges be
adjusted as follows:
1. With respect to the sewer rental assessment of Desolina Armanino as to
the northeasterly 1.447 acres MOL, Parcel 4, Assessor's Map 5, City of South San Fran-
cisco, through error for 1956-57 charge was made for twelve (12) units when said charge
should have been for eleven (11) units, entitling the owner to a refund of NINE DOLLARS
($9.00); through error for July 1957 to January 1958 a charge was made for twelve (12)
units when said charge should have been for eleven (11) units and from January 1958 to
June 1958 a charge was made for twelve (12) units when said charge should have been~r
seven (7) units as the building containing the other units was razed, entitling the
owner to a refund of TWENTY SEVEN DOLLARS ($27.00); through error for 1958-59 a charge
was made for twelve (12) units when said charge should have been for seven (7) units,
entitling the owner to a refund of FORTY-FIVE DOLLARS (45.00). Said owner is there-
fore entitled to a total refund of EIGHTY-ONE DOLLARS ($81.00). Because said sewer
rentals have already been paid, a refund is hereby ordered to be paid to said owner
in the amount of EIGHTY-ONE DOLLARS ($81.00).
2. With respect to the sewer rental assessment of Marco and Marie Senaldi
as to the 0.92 acres MOL, Parcel 20 and a portion of Parcel 11, Map 27 of the City of
South San Francisco, and 5.55 acres MOL, Parcel 12 and 19, Map 27 of the City of
South San Francisco, through error for 1957-58 a charge for THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS ($32.00)
was made ~nd through error for 1958-59, a charge for THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS ($32.00) was
made, when in fact there were no improvements existing during said periods, The owners
are therefore entitled to a refund of SIXTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($64.00). Because said sewer
rentals have already been paid, a refund is hereby ordered to be paid to said owners
in the amount of SIXTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($64.00).
3. With respect to the sewer rental assessment of Victor Lonati, Parcel 9
and 11 of Map 1 of the City of South San Francisco, containing 0.492 acres, through
error for 1957-58, a charge was made for FORTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ($48.00) and through error
for 1958-59, a charge was made for FORTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ($48.00). The buildings on the
property consist of one (1) duplex with two (2) units and Associated Service Station.
The owner has been charged for four (4) units instead of two (2) units. The service
station charge has been made by Associated Oil Company. The owner is therefore entitled
to a refund of SIXTY DOLLARS ($60.00).

4. With respect to the weed abatement charge of Adolph Sani on Lot 31,
Block 117, City of South San Francisco, charges were made in the sum of FOUR DOLLARS
and SIXTY CENTS, ($4.60), when in fact said lot was cleared by owner. Owner is
therefore entitled to a refund of FOUR DOLLARS and SIXTY CENTS, ~4.60). Because said
weed abatement charge has already been paid, arefund is hereby ordered to be paid to
said owner in the amount of FOUR DOLLARS and SIXTY CENTS ($4.60).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said City is hereby instructed
to make the above designated corrections to the sewer rental assessments and weed
abatement assessments; and said City Clerk is further instructed to pay over to the
persons entitled thereto the refunds indicated.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regular intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held this 20th day of July, 1959, by the following vote:
