HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2843-1959414 RESOLUTION NO. 2843 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PROVIDING FOR INCREASED SALARIES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1959-60 ~HEREAS, the City Council recognizes the employees' contribution to good government in South San Francisco by their efficient and courteous attention to duty, and WHEREAS, in the past years employees have aided the City Council's effort to operate economically for the benefit of the taxpayers of the City of South San Francisco, and WHEREAS, because of these facts and because wages throughout industry, business and government are being revised~ the City Council deems it fitting and proper to grant increase in present salaries to City Employees for the fiscal year 1959-60. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does hereby order and approve an increase in salaries for all City Employees for the fiscal year 1959-60 as follows, to wit: For those ~ull-time permanent employees whose wages are scheduled by ranges, said employees shall be advanced to the same step in the next highest range. For those full-time permanent employees whose wages are not scheduled by ranges, the wages of said employees shall be increased five percent (5%). I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Fran- cisco at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, 1959, by the following vote: AYES, NOES, ABSENT, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahern. None. Councilman Emilio Cortesi. ATTEST: ARTHUR A. RODONDI CITY CLERK
