THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
REGULAR MEETING
February 12, 1986
TIME: 7:00 p.m.
PLACE: Community Room, Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo
Drive, South San Francisco, California
CALL TO ORDER: Chair Roberta Cerri Teglia called the Redevlopment
Agency Meeting to order at 7:13 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Present: Chair Roberta Cerri Teglia; Vice Chair Mark
Addiego; Member Jack Drago; Member Richard Haffey
Absent: Member Gus Nicolopulos
Also Present: Executive Director C. Walter Birkelo,
Deputy Executive Director Mark Lewis, Counsel
Herman Fitzgerald
CLOSED SESSION: Chair Teglia stated that the closed session was called
for the purpose of litigation , San Francisco vs. City
of South San Francisco, Case No. 300500 and Case No.
303853, and also for labor relations. Time of Closed
Session: 7:15 p.m.
RECONVENE: The meeting reconvened at 7:48 p.m. Chair Teglia stated
that no action was taken, however, Council/Agency
authorized the Mayor to correspond with selected
individuals and agencies regarding the Airport related
matters.
AGENDA REVIEW: Executive Director Birkelo stated that there was an item
to be added as Item 6A, which is a resolution dealing
with the Poletti Trust properties.
APPROVAL OF It was motioned by Member Haffey and seconded by Member
BILLS: Drago that claims as submitted for payment in the amount
of $16,141.97 for February 12, 1986, be approved. The
motion as made and seconded, was unanimously approved.
A_~_PPROVAL OF It was motioned by Vice Chair Addiego and seconded by
! ~UTES: Member Haffey that the minutes of the Regular Meeting of
December 11, 1985, and the Regular Meeting of January
22, 1986, be approved. The motion as made and seconded
was unanimously approved.
SOLUTION ~%b Executive Director Birkelo stated that Items 5 and 6
1HORIZING were related. They are agreements for Pacific Gas &
AGREEMENT Electric covering the incurring costs, on their behalf,

FACILITIES: It was motioned by Member Haffey and seconded by Member
Drago that the resolution be approved. The motion as made
and seconded was unanimously carried. Title of the
resolution: A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH PG&E FOR RELOCATION OF
DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES (GATEWAY ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.
ST-82-2).
RESOLUTION ~ It was motioned by Vice Chair Addiego and seconded by
AUTHORIZING ~' Member Haffey that the resolution be approved. The
AGREEMENT WITH motion as made and seconded was unanimously approved.
PG&E FOR Title of the resolution: A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND
MODIFICATION OF AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH PG&E FOR
TRANSMISSION MODIFICATION OF TRANSMISSION FACILITIES (GATEWAY
FACILITIES: ASSESSMENT DISTRICT ST-82-82).
JOINT Counsel Fitzgerald informed the Agency that this
RESOLUTION %-%% resolution is related to the ones passed on August 28,
AMENDED AND 1985, Resolution numbers 73, 74 and 75. We are now
PPLEMENTED asking authorization to change the property description
._OLETTI TRUST because the alignment of the roads have changed.
PROPERTIES): It was moved by Member Haffey and seconded by Member
Drago that the resolution be adopted. The resolution is
entitled: JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AS AMENDED AND
SUPPLEMENTED POLETTI TRUST PROPERTIES.
GOOD AND Chair Teglia invited members of the public to speak on
WELFARE: issues relating to the Redevelopment Agency. No one
spoke.
ADJOURNMENT: It was motioned by Member Haffey and seconded by Vice
Chair Addiego that the Redevelopment Agency Meeting be
adjourned. The motion as made and seconded was
unanimously carried.
