HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2908-1959RESOLUTION NO. 2908 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO GRANTING A GRADING PERMIT TO SCHLAGE LOC~ COMPANY BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, that as t h e. Director of Public Works has filed a Report of his reco~mendations on the applica- tion of the Schlage Lock Company for a Grading Permit, the City Council hereby authorizes the City Clerk to issue Schlage Lock Company a "Grading Per, it" to grade the property shown on the plans entitled "Schlage Lock Co., Topographic and Property Survey of Goodrich Property in South San Francisco, California", prepared by J. E. Peck as revised November 28, 1959, said Grading Permit to provide that the grading shall be done in accordance with the referenced topographic and property survey, and further, said permit shall contain provisions indemnifying and holding the Cit~ its elective affiCials, officers and employees harmless from claims and further requiring conduction of the grading work in a manner that it will not injure the property in the vicinity of the land to be graded. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall collect the cost of defraying the expense of the examination and the report by the Director of Public Works in the sum of $10.00 prior to issuing the permit., and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Public Works shall ascertain by inspection that said grading is performed in accordance with the permit and upon its completio~, shall file with the City Clerk, a report stating the results of said inspection and certifying that the grading has been performed in accordance with the permit. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 7th day of December, 1959, by the following vote: AYES, NOES, ABSENT, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G.
