HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA Minutes 1986-07-09 MINUTES THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO REGULAR MEETING July 9, 1986 TIME: 7:00 p.m. PLACE: Community Room, Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, California. CALL TO ORDER: Vice Chairman Mark N. Addiego called the Redevelopment Agency meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. ROLL CALL: Present: Vice Chair, Mark N. Addiego; Member, Richard A. Haffey; Member, Gus Nicolopulos Absent: Chair Roberta Cerri Teglia Also Present: Executive Director, C. Walter Birkelo; Deputy Executive Director, Mark Lewis AGENDA REVIEW: Executive Director Birkelo stated that there was nothing to add nor delete from the agenda. APPROVAL OF There were no bills presented for approval. BILLS: MOTION Executive Birkelo informed the Board that the staff report BUDGET notes that we are not including any new program in this FY 1986-87 proposed budget, but the assumption is made that the Shearwater Project would be moving again sometime during the year. We are also continuing to include the $20,000 item for economic and business development you discussed at our last meeting that relates to your last budget. If you decide to include this payment in your budget, it will not be expended except by other actions of this Board for a specific project. After discussion, it was motion by Member Haffey and seconded by Member Drago that the budget be adopted. The motion as made and seconded was regularly carried. SHEARWATER Executive Director Birkelo stated that Mr. Neville Price, IIEVELOPMENT Shearwater Development, has requested an 90-day extension of TENSION OF time for the Precise Plan submittal. It is hoped that Mr. ME: Price will be able to do as he indicated to clear-up his financial matters and come out of Chapter 11 proceeding. We cannot guarantee that, but we are optimistic. It was motioned by Member Nicolopulos and seconded by Member Haffey that the extension be granted. The motion as made and seconded was regularly carried. GOOD AND Vice Chairman Addiego invited members of the audience to WELFARE: speak on issues relating to the Redevelopment Agency. No one spoke. CLOSED SESSION: There were no items to be considered in Closed Session. ADJOURNMENT: It was motioned by Member Haffey and seconded by Member Drago that the Redevelopment Agency meeting be adjourned. The motion as made and seconded was regularly carried.
