RESOLUTION NO. 2913
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF BONDS, PARKING DISTRICT
NO. 1, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN ~ATEO COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, County
of San Yateo, State of California, as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a written proposal by LICHTitAN & COMPANY -
KIRCHNER, ORMSBEE & WIESNER, INC. - Jo Mo DAIN & CO., INC. - FOX, REUSCH & CO., INC. offer-
ing to purchase off-street parking bonds to be issued by the City of South San Francisco under
Resolution No. 2896 of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, which bonds are
designated as "Bonds of Parking District No. 1, Series A', a copy of which said proposal
is attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and by this reference incorporated herein and made
a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this City Council that the public interest and
convenience will be served in accepting this offer and selling said bonds at the price
therein named; and
WHEREAS, said bid was also the highest bid considering the interest rate or rates
specified, the premium offered, if any, and the best interests of the City of South San
Francisco;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that said proposal be, and the same is hereby
accepted and said bonds are hereby ordered sold to LICHTMAN & COMPANY - KIRCHNER, ORI/SBEE
& WlESNER, INC. - J. M. DAIN & CO., INC. - FOX, REUSCH & CO., INC. in the amount, and sub-
ject to the terms and conditions, in the bid of said LICHT~AN & COMPANY - KIRCHNER, ORMSBEE
& WlESNER, INC. - J. M. DAIN & CO., INC. - FOX, REUSCH & CO., INC.; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the interest rate of said bonds be, and the same is
hereby, fixed at the rate stated in said bid of LICHTI/AN & COMPANY - KIRCHNER, OR~SBEE &
WIESNER, INC. - J. ~. DAIN & CO., INC. - FOX, REUSCH & CO., INC.; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said bonds shall be dated December 1, 1959, shall
bear interest from said date, and shall be in accordance with the terms and provisions of
Resolution No. 2896 hereinabove mentioned.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was dul~ and regularly
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, van ~ateo County,
California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 7th day of December, 1959,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, hilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan and
Patrick E. Ahern
