HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2915-1959 RESOLUTION NO. 2915 A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2876 - PONDEROSA ROAD Ii~ROVEMENT PROJECT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WHEREAS, this Council did on September 8, 1959, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 2876 to acquire and construct public improvements in and for said City; WHEREAS, on November 2, 1959, this Council adopted a resolution appointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to the proposed acquisitions and improvements and directing notice; WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein stated in the manner pro- vided by law, as appears from the affidavits on file in the office of the City Clerk; WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at the time therein fixed; and ~EREAS, all written protests and other written communications were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desiring to be heard were fully heard; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That protests against said acquisitions and improvements were not signed by the owners of a majority or more of the area, of'the lands within the assessment distr~ct~rof t area of the lands within the assessment district assessed for the cos~ and expenses of said work. 2. Tha~ said protests be, and each of them are hereby, overruled. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, at a regular meeting held this 7th day of December, 1959, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahem NOES, None ABSENT, None ATTEST: ARTHUR A. RODONDI CITY CLERK
