HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2921-1959RESOLUTION NO. 2921 ORDERING VACATION OF PORTION OF UTAH AVENUE INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 2-C, ZONE 2 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco and this Council does hereby FIND, ORDER and DETERMINE that 1. The City Council did, on the 8th day of September, 1959, adopt its Ord- inance No. 441 of Intention to Vacate Portion of Utah Avenue, a public street in the City of South San Francisco, for its full length, as said street is shown on the map entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park, Unit No. 2-C", which map was recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo on February 25, 1959, in Book 50 of Maps, at pages 31, 32 and 33. 2. Said Ordinance recited that proceedings were being undertaken pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941, for vacating said street. 3. Said Ordinance of Intention was duly published as required by law, and notices of its passage entitled "Notice of Proposed Street Vacation of Portion of Utah Avenue", were duly posted in the time, manner and form provided by law, all as appear from the affidavits of publication and posting on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. 4. Monday, the 5th day of October, 1959, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of South San Francisco, were fixed in said Ordinance of Intention as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested in, or having any objections to, said proposed vacation might appear before said Council and be heard. 5. No objections of any kind or character have been, or were made, or filed, against said proposed vacation. 6. It is to the interest and convenience of the City of South San Franc~co that said Portion of Utah Avenue lying east of Littlefield Avenue to the Subdivision boundary, be, and the same is hereby, vacated. 7. The City Clerk of said City shall cause a certified copy of this resolu- tion and order, attested under the seal of said City, to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County of San Mateo. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly in- troduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San FranCisco at a regular meeting held this 7th day of December, 1959, by the following vote: AYES, NOES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G.
