HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2955-1960 RESOLUTION NO. 2955 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTION OF SERVICE ROAD SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT #1 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, as follows: 1. This Resolution is adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941. 2. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention of this Council to vacate a portion of the service road described as follows: All that certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the easterly boundary line of that certain subdivision entitled "SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 1 SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SAN M~TEO COUNTY CALIFORNIA", which map was filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County on September 14,' 1956 in Volume 46 of Maps at pages 5, 6 & 7, Records of San Mateo County, California, said Point of Beginning being distant along said easterly boundary line N 17° 07' 24" W 8.73 feet from the most easterly corner of said subdivision; thence from said Point'of Beginning along said easterly boundary line N 17°. 07' 24" ~ 45.20 feet to the south- easterly corner of Lot 11 as shown on the above described map; thence le~vlng said easterly boundary line southwesterly along the arc of a curve to the right, from a tangent which bears S 56° 35' 40" ~, having a central angle of 5° 53' 24", a radius of 859.317 feet and an arc distance of 88.34 feet; thence tangent to the preceding curve S 62° 29' 04" W 160.00 feet; thence tangent to the preceding course along the arc of a curve to the right having a central angle of 9° 36' 30", a radius of 296.84 feet and an arc distance of 49.81 feet; thence N 72° 05' 54" E 219.33 feet; thence tangent to the preceding course along the arc of a curve to the left having a central angle of 7° 37' 01", a radius of 555.00 feet and an arc distance of 73.78 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said portion of the service road to be vacated is shown on that certain map entitled "Portion of Service Road in South San Francisco Industrial Park Unit 1 to be Abandoned, Wilsey & Ham, Dec. 59, Drawing 59-4105," on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2O RESOLUTION NO. 2955 (CONTINUED): 3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 15th day of February, 1960, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, South San Francisco, Calif- ornia, are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in, or having objections to, the proposed vacation of a portion of said service road, may appear before said Council and be heard. 4. A copy of this Resolution shall be published once in the Enterprise- Journal, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in said City, within fifteen (15) days after the date of its adoption. 5. Notices of the vacation of the portion of said service road shall be posted conspic~ously along the line of the portion proposed to be vacated at least ten (10) days before the date set for the hearing. Such notices shall be posted not more than 300 feet apart, but not less than three shall be posted.
