THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
REGULAR MEETING
January 28, 1987
TIME: 7:00 p.m.
PLACE: Community Room, Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo
Drive, South San Francisco, California.
CALL TO ORDER: Vice Chairman Jack Drago called the Redevelopment Agency
meeting to order at 7:08 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Present: Vice Chair, Jack Drago; Member, Richard A. Haffey;
Member, Gus Nicolopulos
Absent: Chairman Mark N. Addiego (death in family); Member
Roberta Cerri Teglia
Also Present: Executive Director, C. Waiter Birkelo;
Deputy Executive Director, Mark Lewis
AGENDA REVIEW: Executive Director Birkelo stated that there was nothing to
add nor delete from the agenda.
APPROVAL OF It was motioned by Member Haffey, and seconded by Member
BILLS: Nicolopulos that claims as submitted for payment in the
amount of $3,067.75 for January 28, 1987, be approved. The
motion as made and seconded was regularly carried.
MEMBER TEGLIA Member Roberta Cerri Teglia arrived to the meeting at 7:10
ARRIVES: p.m.
APPROVAL OF It was motioned by Member Haffey and seconded by Member
MINUTES: Nicolopulos that the minutes of the Regular meeting of
December 10, 1986 and the Regular meeting of December 17,
1986 be approved. The motion as made and seconded was
regularly carried.
RESOLUTION Executive Director Birkelo stated Mr. Yee had prepared the
APPROVING staff report which has to do with the addition to the East
PLANS AND Grand overcrossing to provide a glare screen along the way
SPECIFICATIONS which also has some safety factor benefits attached to it.
A~z~HORIZING And it was a project that was financed by the Redevelopment
~ K AND Agency, so this addition should also be financed that

CLOSED Executive Director informed the Board that there were no
SESSION: items to be considered in Closed Session.
GOOD AND Vice Chairman Jack Drago invited members of the audience
WELFARE: to speak on issues relating to the Redevelopment Agency. No
one spoke.
ADJOURNMENT: It was motioned by Member Haffey and seconded by Member
Teglia that the meeting of the Redevelopment Agency be
adjourned. The motion as made and seconded was regularly
carried.
