A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE~ CITY ATTORNEY TO CONSENT TO CAN-
CELLATION OF TAXES ON PROPERTY ACQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE AND
REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO AUTHORIZE CANCELLATION
OF COUNTY TAXES AND THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY TO CONSENT THERETO
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that:
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco acquired certain parcels of real property
for public purposes, to wit: off street parking (Parking District 1955-1), and said parcels
are hereinafter more particularly described, and
~AEREAS, the City Council of said City desires to authorize the City Attorney to
consent to the cancellation of taxes pursuant to Section 4986 of the Revenue and Taxation
Code of the State of California, and, further, requests the Board of Supervisors for the
County of San Mateo to authorize cancellation of County taxes and the District Attorney of
said County to consent thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is ordered that:
(1) The City Attorney of the City of Sou~h San Francisco is authorized to consent
to cancellation of taxes on those parcels of real property acquired for public purpose, to wit:
off street parking sites (Parkin~ District 1955-1), said sites being particularly described
as follows:
The westerly half of Lot 6 in Block 124 as delineated and set out on that
certain map entitled "SOI~rH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO CO., CAL., PLAT NO. 1",
which map was filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County
on March 1, 1892, in Book "B" of Original Maps at page 6 and copied into
Book 2 of Maps at page 52.
The easterly one-half (1/2), front and rear measurements of Lot 6 and all of
Lot 5 in Block 124 as shown on that certain map entitled "Map of South San
Francisco, Plat No. 1, San Mateo Co., Cal." filed in the office of the County
Recorder of San Mateo County on March 1, 1892, in Book "B" of Maps at page 6
and copied into Book 2 of Maps at page 52.
Lot 10, in Block 140, as-shown on that certain map entitled "South San Fran-
cisco, San Mateo Co. Ca1 Plat No. 1" filed in the office of the County Recorder
of San Mateo County on March 1,.1892 in Book "B" of Maps at page 6 and copied
into Book 2 of Maps at page 52.
All of Lo~ 2 in Block 139 as delineated and set out on that certain map en-
titled "South San Francisco, San Mateo Co., Cal., Plat No. 1", which map was
filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County on March 1,
1892, in Book "B'! of Original Maps at page 6 and copied into Book 2 of Maps
at page 52.
Lot 9 in Block 140 as delineated and set out on that certain map entitled
"South San Francisco, San Mateo Co., Cal., Plat No. 1", which map was filed
in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County on March 1, 1892,
in Book "B" of Original Maps at page 6 and copied into Book 2 of Maps at
page 52.
Lots 19 and 20 in Block 140 as shown on that certain map entitled "South
San Francisco, San Mateo Co. Cal. Plat No. 1" filed in the office of the
County Recorder of San Mateo County on March 1, 1892 in Book "B" of Maps
at Page 6 and copied into Book 2 Of Maps at page 52.
Lot 18 in Block 125 as delineated and set out on that certain map entitled
"South San Francisco, San Mateo Co., Cal., Plat No. 1", which map was filed
in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County on March 1, 1892,
in Book "B" of Original Maps at page 6 and copied into Book 2 of Maps at page
52.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held this 16th day of May, 1960, by the following vote:
