A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO REFERRING PETITION FOR
ANNEXATION TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR REPORT
OR RECOMMENDATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOVERNMENT
CODE 35108
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation of inhabited territory, consisting of
15.935 acres,.more or less, occupied by Treasure Island Trailer Court and others
has been presented to the City Council of the City of South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires to
consent to the.undertaking of annexation proceedings pursuant to the Annexation
Act of 1913; and
WHEREAS, said Act at Sections 35108 and 35109 requires reference of the
petition to the Planning Commission for report or recommendation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council.of the City of South
San Francisco:
1. That the petition for annexation pursuant to the Annexation Act of
1913 whereby petitioners request the City Council to give consent to the commence-
ment of proceedings be referred to the Planning Commission of the City of South
San Francisco for report or recommendation in accordance with Sections 35108 and
35109 of the Government Code.
2. That the City Clerk forward to the Planning CommissiOn a copy of the
petition together with description and map.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted at an adjourned regular meeting held on the
23rd day of May, 1960, by the following vote:
AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Patrick E. Ahem
NOES, None
ABSENT, Councilmen Leo J. Ryan and Emilio Cortesi
