HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3021-196084 RESOLUTION NO. 3021 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO CONSENT TO CANCELLATION OF TAXES ACQUIRED BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS WHEREAS, the State of California, Division of Highways, has acquired certain real property for state highway purposes, more particularly described hereinafter, and pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code 4986 has requested cancellation of all City taxes and those for all subsequent years, together with any costs and penalties thereon, and that the City Attorney consent thereto, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco desires to auth- orize the City Attorney to consent to said cancellation pursuant to Section 4986 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that all uncollected City taxes and those for all subsequent years be can- celled, together with any costs and penalties thereon, on certain real property des- cribed as follows: BEGINNING at the most northerly corner of the Sub- division as shown on that certain map entitled "STERLING MANOR MAP NO. 2 SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA", which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California on March 5, 1951, in Book 33 of Maps, at pages 8 and 9; thence from said point of beginning along the Northeast- erly line of said Subdivision, South 38 06 50" East, 837.95 feet and Southeasterly along the arc of a curve to the left, tangent to the preceding course, said curve having a radius of 3060 feet, through a central angle 2° 03' 51.5", an arc length of 110.24 feet to the South- easterly boundary line of the lands described in the Deed from James L. Casey, et al, to Hillside Manor Cor- poration of San Francisco, a corporation, dated and re- corded Januarv 17. 1951 in Book 20095~f Official or-San Mateo County at Page 449 (120 -J);~thence Nor · 40v 11' 33" East al°rig Said Southeasterly boundary line ~1;28 fee~t~ the S~uthwesterly l~ne of the State Highway ~nown as ~x camino ~ea~; thence axong said Southwesterly boundary line North 19v 10' 12" West, 257.84 feet, North- westerly along the arc of a curve to the left, tangent to the preceding course, said curve having a radius of 717 feet, through a central angle of 28° 02' 00", an arc length of 350.81 feet and North 47° 12' 12' West, 371,51 feet to the Northwesterly line of the lands described in said Deed to Hillside Manor Corporation above referred to; thence South 41° 11' 30", West along the last men- tioned line 146.95 feet to the point of beginning. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 6th day of June, 1960, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G.
