HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3029-1960RESOLUTION NO. 3029 A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTSON RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2771 PERSON AND SWANSON INDUSTRIAL TRACT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that WHEREAS, this Council did on April 6, 1959, adopt its Resolution of Inten- tion No. 2771 to acquire and construct public improvements in and for said City, and to form a Grading Maintenance District; WHEREAS, on August 17, 1959, this Council adopted a resolution appointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to the proposed acquisitions and im- provements and the formation of said Grading Maintenance District, and directing notice; WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein stated in the manner provided by law, as appears from the affidavits on file in the.office of the City Clerk; WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at the time therein fixed; and WHEREAS, all written protests and other written communications were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desiring to be heard were fully heard; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That protests against said acquisitions and improvements or the formation of said Grading Maintenance District were not signed by the owners of a majority or more of the area of the lands within the assessment district, or of the area of the lands within the assessment district assessed for the costs and expenses of said work. 2. That said protests be, and each of them.are hereby, overruled. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 20th day of June, 1960, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahern NOES, None ABSENT, None ATTEST: ARTHUR A. RODONDI CITY CLERK
