A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT - CONSTRUCTION
OF PARKING FACILITIES FACING GRAND, BADEN AND
MILLER AVENUES
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California,
that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council and published notice,
bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 18th day of July 1960 for the
work to be done and the improvement to be made as described and specified in Resolution
No. 3038 entitled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AUTHORIZING THE WORK AND CALLING FOR BIDS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF PARKING FACILITIES FACING GRAND, BADEN AND MILLER AVENUES".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said proposals or bids except
that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing the work and improve-
ments and furnishing the materials, s~plies and equipment necessary therefor, to the
lowest responsible bidder, to wit: O.'C. JONES AND SONS at the price named in their bid.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to make and enter into a
written contract with said successful bidder, and to authorize, receive and approve all
bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to
attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adOpted by the City Council of the City of South San Franc~co at a
regular meeting held on the 18th day of July, 1960, by the following vote:
