A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT - FOR PURCHASE
OF MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT OF THE SEWAGE TREATMENT
· PLANT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, Calif-
ornia, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Council and published
notice, bids were publicly opened, examined and declared on the 12th day of July
1960 for the purchase of replacement chains and sprockets for three (3) primary
sedimentation tanks and chains and stainless steel cotters for grit chamber for
the Joint Sewage Treatment Plant - South San Francisco and San Bruno, California·
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said proposals or bids
except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby award the contract for the purchase
of replacement chains and sprockets for three-(3) primary sedimentation tanks and
chains and staimlasssteel cotters for grit chamber for the Joint Sewage Treatmmnt
Plant - South San Francisco and San Bruno, California, to the lowest responsible
bidder, to wit: WEEKS-HOWE-EMERSON COMPANY at the price stated in said bid.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized to make and enter
into a written contract with said successful bidder, and to authorize, receive and
approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of said City is hereby
directed to attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of July, 1960, by the following
vote:

Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. R°zzi, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. Ryan
and Patrick E. Ahern
