HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3052-1960RESOLUTION NO. 3052 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO GRANTING A GIL~DING PEP~MIT TO UTAH CONSTRUCTION AND MINING COMPANY BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the Director of Public Works, having filed a report of his recommendations on the application of UTAH CONSTRUCTION AND MINING COMPANY for a grading permit, the City Council hereby authorizes the City Clerk to issue to UTAH CONSTRUCTION AND MINING COMPANY a grading per- mit to grade the property described as Belair Tract, adjacent to Airport Boulevard and Belair Shipyard. Said grading permit shall provide that the grading be done in accord- ance with the report and recommendations of the Director of Public Works, which is hereby referred to and by this reference made a part hereof, that certain report and recommenda- tion set forth in Director of Public Works' Inter-Office Memorandum dated July 29, 1960. Said permit shall contain provisions indemnifying and holding the City, its elective officials, officers and employees harmless from claims and further requiring conduction o th~ grading work in a manner that it will not injure the property in the vicinity of the land to be graded. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall collect the cost of defraying the expense of the examination and the report by the Director of Public Works in the sum of $10.00 prior to issuing the per~lt, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works shall ascertain by inspection that said gra~ing is performed in accordance with the permit and upon its com- pletion, shall file with the City Clerk a report stating the results of said inspection and certifying that the grading has been performed in accordance with the permit. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro- duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a reslar meeting held the 1st day of August, 1960, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G.
