HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3058-1960 RESOLUTION NO. 3058 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO REQUIRING PAYMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS IN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT PROCEEDINGS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco finds that administering assessment districts under the improvement acts of the State of California imposes a financial burden on the general fund of said City for the payment of administrative costs, and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish the administrative costs of said districts as a charge to be borne by petitioners for formation of the district and beneficiaries of said district, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that prior to the commencement of any improvement district proceed- ings, petitioners shall be required to deposit in escrow with the City Clerk the cost of administering said district, said cost to be computed by the City Manager. The City Manager shall compute the cost by determinig the time required of City employees and the materials and supplies required to service the assessment district. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon completion of the formation of the dis- trict said costs deposited by the petitioners shall be transferred from the escrow account to a bond service account against which charges for administering the district shall be made. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 15th day of August, 1960, by the following vote: AYES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi, Emilio Cortesi, Leo J. RYan and Patrick E. Ahem NOES, None ABSENT, None ATTEST: ARTHUR A. RODONDI CITY CLERK
