HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3068-1960128 RESOLUTION NO. 3068 A RESOLUTION~ OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ABANDONING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT - AVALON PARK NO. 3, LOT 1, BLOCK 15 WHEREAS, a public utility easement was dedicated to the City of South San Francisco by a certain subdivision map entitled "Avalon Park, No. 3, South San Francisco, California, recorded in Book 39 of Maps, Official Records of San Mmteo County, at pages 46 and 47, and WHEREAS, said ten (10) foot public utility easement has not been used for the purposes for which it was dedicated or acquired and is unnecessary for present and prospective public use by'said City. NOW, T~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of South San Francisco, having not used said ten (10) foot public utility easement described as a strip of land of uniform width of ten (10) feet lying contiguous to and northeasterly of the southwesterly boundary line of the public utilities easement occupying a northeasterly forty (40) feet of Lot 1, Block 15, as shown on 'Map entitled "Avalon Park No. 3, South San Francisco, California, which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County in Book 39 of Maps at pages 46 and 47, and determin- ing that said easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public use by said City, does hereby abandon said ten (10) foot public utilities easement. BE IT FURTHERRESOLVED that said vacation and abandonment shall not release, vacate or abandon any other easements granted or iu use. BE IT FURTME, R RESOLVED that the required documents be recorded by the City Clerk to clear the Grantors' property of the easement. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held this 6th day of September, 1960, by the following vote: AYES, NOES, Councilmen Andrew Rocca, G.
